Terms of Use & End User License Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of FilmScout Studio (the "App"), a mobile application provided by Aaronde Entertainment, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA (where applicable).

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Subscription Plans

FilmScout Studio offers the following auto-renewable subscriptions:

Prices may vary by region and currency. The price shown in the App at the time of purchase is the price you will be charged.

3.2 Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial of FilmScout Studio Pro features starting at sign-up. After the trial expires, access to Pro features requires an active subscription.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.

3.4 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, by going to:

No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Once cancelled, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period, after which access will end.

3.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) per their respective policies. We are not able to issue refunds directly. Visit Apple's Report a Problem portal or Google Play purchase history to request a refund.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos, videos, audio, notes, and other content you upload to the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, sync, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality to you. We do not use your User Content for advertising, training models, or sharing with third parties.

The App relies on third-party services including but not limited to Apple App Store, Google Play, Supabase (backend), RevenueCat (subscription management), and weather/permit data providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Permit information, weather history, sun times, parking data, and other reference information shown in the App are provided as a convenience and may be inaccurate or out of date. You are responsible for independently verifying all permit requirements, fees, contacts, and site conditions with the relevant authorities and property owners before relying on any information for production decisions.

We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Aaronde Entertainment, LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion via our Account Deletion page.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you through the App or by email at the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
